Inori is a worker placement board game designed for short but strategically sophisticated games. Players compete to gain the favor of the Spirits that inhabit the Great Tree, using their limited four rounds to their advantage and capitalizing on both their own and others’ choices.
The heart of the game is to make offerings to the Spirits, simultaneously activating their abilities, or obtaining points or favors. At the end of the rounds, whoever has accumulated the most points will be elected Guardian of the Year of the Great Tree and winner of the game!
